Man, Yanqui is by FAR the worst output of Godspeed! I can't fathom how people can prefer it to Skinny Fists, for example. There's a lot of old threads about em though, in which the merit of Yanqui is discussed................. |

I think i still like godspeed but i haven't listened to any of their stuff in about a year. It's hard to be moved by something so overblown unless you're really in that place, i dunno... their stuff can get very in-yer-face-EPIC. Also, yanqui uxo sucked very much, yes. |

You're right! I like them, but I can't stand Slow Riot Thing anymore, even though it used to be my favourite. It sounds like the score to some hollywood movie, and that guy on the second track is a bit of a cock really. What's wrong with Yanqui uxo, I think it's very nice |
