so...
is anyone here good at hearing chords?
what chords does Tom use in this track? this is just way
over my head. the base scale would be c# lokrian? (D
major?)

also, does anyone know how that special
turnaround-or-whatever-it-is is called that he uses in this
track, and also (for the first time) in Tetra-Sync? so that
the track 'sounds and feels' like it is pitched up everytime
the progression starts over, while in reality it is not?

hm okay... you have an idea what scales these are?

it has that classical feel to it, while at the same time,
not. :D

i'm not about to sit down and find the scales, as i'm a
lazy, driveling cunt. i do enjoy it, mind. probably up 5
steps now and then, eh? i can't remember.

best track he's done in a while IMHO
i've probably done perm hearing damage listening to this in
the car over the past 2 weeks.

i absolutely love it when it slams in.

what part are you talking about? (and in tetra sync?)

hmm i'm talking about that general feel of the track...
don't know how to put it in english... it is more noticable
in tetra sync. once that 'bulk of different chords' is
through it'll start again. round 2 basically. nothing fancy
so far. but there is some kind of aural illusion within
those chords, which makes you think that the 'next round' is
in another pitch... as if the track was climbing a ladder...
reminds me of Streetfighter II soundtrack :D, where the
music gets faster and faster until the round is over.
