http://www-crca.ucsd.edu/~msp/software.html

I was pointed to this. Looks confusing as hell. Also looks
like it might be a neat bit of software if used properly.
Kind of reminds me of a rough version Reaktor with a good
tutorial (at first glance), but you know how first
impressions can be. I want to know what other people think.

Its free. Its in beta testing right now. Its designed by the
same fellow(s) as Max/MSP.

Somewhat unrelated... don't you think?

Was the link eliminated?

It was a reality simulator.

It's a open source(ish) version of MAX ... a midi/diigital
data processing program...

AFX has used MAX in the past...it lets you create "machines"
& path them together....

Not my best explanation, but you get the idea....read some
info on MAX for more info....(BTW this version on this page
is a Free clone of MAX for Linux etc...)...

I'm using it now(sort of) but I can't get the midi-in to
work with it. I can't find a way to configure the drivers
does anyone know how to fix this? Well, I've only been using
it for a few hours and so far I can only generate sinewaves
but so far it looks promising...
