if only more people'd think like that. like armed americans
for instance. however maybe they love to try it out some
time

word! how fucking hard can it be to just go and talk to her?
she's probably nothing to be afraid of anyway.. most people
are harmless.

it wouldn't be hard, but it's impossible talking to her.
she's not logical at all, conversations don't follow any
route, it's like an episode of ricki lake or jerry springer
- i'd say something, and then instead of reacting or
addressing it, she would just say something completely
different but insulting or something.

there's no possibility of reasoning. why can't you grasp
that?

and cuntychuck, it's not really a flat, we have 2 floors of
a large georgian house. the junkies have a flat in the
basement. a taxi driver has another flat in the basement
too.

Apologies; I wrote a really long reply, lost it and retyped
it, but omitted the start, which was along the lines of:

"I'd try talking to her first (although make sure you don't
promise never to have parties again unless you are prepared
not to). It doesn't sound like she'll be open to discussion,
but at least you can say you tried. If she's still hostile
in a couple of weeks time and is still giving you grief when
you bump into her, then I'd move."

I'd also meant to point out to redrum that you having 60
people partying to 7.00am anywhere other than
remote/detached houses, or on a street full of student
houses, is completely out of order, no matter how
infrequently it is (with the possible exception of NYE)and
that you got off lightly. If I lived next door/downstairs to
you and had already been up to complain several times, by
about 3am, I'd of called the police and by about 4am, I'd of
kicked your door in and gone apeshit.

it's a fully detached house.

just came home from the doctor's and the landlady was here,
had a word with her and she says she'll sort it out. they're
getting evicted on the 10th october apparently, but she says
this might help her evict them sooner.

turns out the woman who kept calling up to us is actually a
squatter.

"turns out the woman who kept calling up to us is

squatter."
.

Ha ha ha! That really is classic. I can picture it now,
"Just because I'm a squatter, doesn't mean I don't have
rights you know, even if it impinges on the freedom of those
who live here who do pay the rent, etc." :D Hope the problem
is sorted soon and that they are out on their ear, ASAP. I'd
have loads of parties whilst you don't have any tenants
downstairs as well.

planning on it :) you should see the house man, most amazing
partyhaus imaginable. looking forward to having them out of
our hair. according to the landlady, yer man from
downstairs, tomo, isn't vicious either, unless he's pushed.
so i think we should be alright :)
