I've been meaning to make a post about these fellas for a while now. The first album 2004's "Last Exit" is like 2step/grime meets the Scritti Politti: lots of skippy beats and forlorn vocals. The new one "So this is Goodbye" flips the script with an early house Larry Heard/Mr Fingers influence and stronger vocals and is even better. I think that uviol and Dirty Priest in particular will like this excellent electronic pop music. |
