topic instead of a homo how you doing topic.

I need three more tracks, I'm working on one with an awesome
vocalist. He's like a cross between D'Angelo and Butthead.
And if some one could do a nice mix, that would be perfect.

dog_belch?
Well, we should respect our elders. We have much to learn.

Like old enough to be into Suede the first time round.
That's like UK yoof culture middle-age. Good on him.

Bless you for not being afraid of my pissy smell and general
taint of decay. This week I have

Cut back on booze
Still felt angry and unfulfilled
Directed a mixture of rascist remarks and unfounded slander
at the telly
Almost fell down the stairs
Spent 40 quid on SAWII (black vinyl)
Done next to no work due to chronic listlessness

The signs are that my life is a waste, I've squandered even
the smallest splat of potential I was given, I've failed in
EACH and EVERY area of life and can only look forward to
ruin and despair. I can't even serve as a warning to young
people. All I can say is "Good luck, you bastards"

I was going through why remains of my belongings, and in
amongst some ghastly photographs I found all my old concert
tickets (being concerts that I actually went to) and ,
ahhh, look, Feb 1993.. before the first album was out , a
cold night down in Portsmouth, chatting with the band after,
then finally, out waddles an addled Bert and a few furtive
autographs. Happy times. Still one of the Top 10 gigs I ever
went to, very... persuasive band, at the time.

I did love Elastica though. so there's a slight connection.
and that's alright by internet standards.

Hi. Thanks for your interest in the Internet entity known as
dog_belch. Before I almost stopped reading, I enjoyed books
by:

Samuel Beckett
Flann O'Brien
Mervyn Peake
Martin Amis
Robert Coover
William Faulkner
John King
Terry Southern
J D Salinger
Jorge Luis Borges
H P Lovecraft

Look, no women. That wasn't a conscious decision. I have
read books by women. Actually I have been reading some
incredible short stories by Chilean author Maria Luisa
Bombal (1910-1980), that rival Borges for inventiveness and
sadness, but they're taking me a while to fully get into..
as they're in.. very poetic.. spanish.

I've recently started reading H.P. Lovecraft's writings.

you should try it, Dan, see if it pushes you over the edge.

I re-read Volume II of the .. classic collection, recently,
I bought it here... for an OUTRAGEOUS sum. I like "Polaris",
and the weird house on the cliff. Yes. I like them all.

have you read anything by Jeff Noon?

if not, you could try "Falling out of cars". it's weird, it
might seem like sci-fi but it's not, it's disjointed.

of Richard in The Information.

Ha, you're not wrong. I should read it again as it's even
more pertinent now. That's a great book, I think it got bad
reviews at the time, but then that was to do with the large
advance he received for writing, or something. But yes,
fantastic writer.

I think it's the only one of his books that's out of print
now, something to do with contracts and whatnot. My local
library had it though.

Very soon I should imagine, and not in the Xltronic v2 sense
of "soon", but in the definition of the word one might find
if they looked it up in a good quality dictionary.
