Sesame Street's secret racism

I just figured this out...

----------

warm color-wheel characters:

red, orange, yellow = elmo (a little uplifting guy that
everyone loves), ernie (the humorous main star of the show),
and big bird (a large friendly sensative bird)

cold color-wheel characters:

green, blue, purple = oscar (a homless angry guy), cookie
monster (a guy with a major addiction who is known to steal
cookies), and grover (a homosexual)

----------

Clearly they are racist against the cool colors which I
interpret to mean blacks and homosexuals.

There is one token white straight guy in the
following pic. The rest are referred to as
'monsters'.

Those albums are the best, and young Master Dog Belch
listens to them pretty much EVERY DAY.

a very long time ago I had a record where ernie goes on a
tiger hunt with his 'trusty rusty telescope'. It wasn't a
song but sound effects eg. ok now we're going to swim across
this river *swim sounds*. It ends with him climbing a tree
and he says like, I don't see a tiger anywhere and then this
tiger says "GOOOOOD AFTERNOOOOOON!" I think it was in the
same tree or something. So in a panic ernie goes through all
the same sound effect things backwards (river, swish through
tall grass, etc) back to his home. If I remember right the
tiger knocks on the door simply to return his trusty rusty
telescope. But anyway it was the most frightening thing I'd
ever experienced at that age aside from gmork from the
neverending story. THE END.

"Killin' Them Softly". Funny it was.

it shouldn't. the term is flawed and out of date

So, in these not out of date times, someone having the word
"nigger" shouted at them is based on what exactly? Or
"paki"?

it's based on colour. it's colourist if anything

i meant the term "nigger" is in reference to colour

some countries consist exclusively of people in one
particular colour group. many though are ethnically diverse
and so the term "racism" cannot be used anymore as a
reference to colour. the term "yank" is a racist term, but
not all americans are one colour.

offline ecnadniarb on 2006-08-20 16:21 [#01957261]

You are typing shit. African-Americans consider themselves
to be a distinct racial group just as the white devils do.
People are still judged on their skin colour. Recent racial
profiling is taking place primarily on the basis that you
are a person of colour from the East. Therefore colour has
everything to do with racism.

i didn't mean it like that.

i mean that racism as a term is inconsistent, and so as a
defining term is massively flawed for use in the 21st
century. racism as a term is meant to be defined by
nationality. in the past the term was apt due to the fact
that most countries were ethnically concentrated (i.e.
britain = white). can you see where i'm coming from?

offline ecnadniarb on 2006-08-20 16:32 [#01957271]

Racism as a term is meant to be defined by race, not
nationality. What is massively flawed about a term defining
the mistreatment of others based on race? Racism is fucked
up but there is nothing wrong with the word. Prejudicial
behaviour based on the perceived racial background of
another person whether defined by colour or not is racism.
Colour is still a primary factor is racist behaviour.

Oh right, and those other three or four countries were the
black, brown and yellow ones. Just how far back are we
going?

actually according to wikipedia there was a lot of
speculation that bert and ernie were gay, but they made an
official statement they weren't.

in the new ren and stimpy's (im the pitcher you're the
catcher), the creator said they can be anything they want
them to be for the gag. I like shows with that type of
character.. in the show 'friends' for example, everything
accumulates, so the creators constantly have to keep
behavior etc. narrow in order to fit in with stuff that
happened/quirks revealed etc in previous episodes. Thus it
gets boringly over driilled that whatserface is a cleanfreak
or whatever. ren and stimpy etc. just start with a clean
slate every episode. Although seinfeld is great and didn't
do it the clean slate way so this is a big bunch of
purposeless text you just read; a disclaimer I should put at
the end of all of my posts. If I was nice I'd put it at the
beginning.

GAY NIGGER MUPPET SEX
