I am trying to find anyone who is or has gone to see James
Holden live, or is going to or gone to a past V-Fest, I want
all the good details as I cant go, but love his new release
enough to consider getting a plane tic just so I can see him
spin live. Hit me up!

Here is all the pertinant info I could find on his new
release. Show dat' love everyone and leave a MSG.!!!

New York, NY -- System Recordings is proud to present ‘At
The Controls,’ the new double mix CD from James Holden.
‘At The Controls’ comes at a time with James Holden
firmly in the glare of the spotlight of the international
clubbing world. His productions and remixes are receiving
play from superstar DJs like John Digweed, Lee Burridge,
Steve Lawler and Sasha, and his DJ schedule includes dates
on just about every continent. James’ collaboration with
vocalist Julie Thompson, “Nothing,” was hailed by Trance
legend Tiesto as his tune of the year, and he has remixed
everyone from Madonna to New Order to Britney Spears to
Black Strobe to Kirsty Hawkshaw.
2006 is certainly looking bright for 26-year-old
international DJ/producer rising star James Holden. His
vibrant mixing skills and exciting track selection shine
throughout ‘At The Controls.’ Over the course of the 2
disc mix, James Holden reveals himself to be worthy of all
of the praise being heaped upon him. His
instantly-recognizable ethereal progressive house style
meshes with acid house, techno, electro and down tempo
melodies. The music sparkles with a very apparent attention
to detail, featuring tracks and remixes from Death In Vegas,
Aphex Twin, Boards Of Canada and Holden himself.

At The Controls is indeed a very nice mix album!

btw, James Holden played at Pukkelpop 2006 yesterday... pity
I wasn't there. Pukkelpop is one of the biggest Belgian
festivals!

Yes, at the controls got the brisk mix seal of approval too.
Good selection.
