with mind-altering drugs, distributed globally through the
atmosphere using the jet streams, followed by airdrops of
definitive IDM albums (and where necessary, the equipment to
play them) into every urban centre or tribal gethering
point.

"I wish ...everyBODY on :this: planet.."

music ain't much..

agree with tolstoyed. its not like idm (ugh) is THAT great.
i can think of more worthwhile genres that deserve global
attention.

and i_x_ten lets see you write what fractal wrote in
slovakian.

you know that's pretty much impossible, don't you?

also "understand" and "listen to" aren't the same thing... -
um, wait - now that i say it, i'm not sure what
"understanding" music is.

hold the world to ransom with loads of nukes, and force
world governments to accept IDM and enforce it as compulsory
listening

IDM is used in a mountain of advertising and incidental
music. MTV plays a shedload of AFX, BOC, Ae, and all your
favourites, just they don't play the videos, they have them
soundtracking "edgy" animations and station idents.

I say this, the world has listened to IDM and put it where
it belongs, in the background.

" the world has listened to IDM and put it where it
belongs, in the background"

I like that. and I hardly like anything, ever.

you sometimes remind me of Charlie Brooker, Dan. and I mean
that in a good way.

IDM styles are already being used in the marketing of
Scions,
It will spread and eventually RAP will claim it as their own
style like they did with Chopped and skrewd. basic slowing
down and cutting up of a track... they claim it as their own
style and branded it a stupid name.
