brace yourself cygnus, "tear it apart!!!" could be
understood as an indication to others that the harshest
critique of your work is what you're after.

i'm not being snide or anything, i'm being 100% serious

Needs to be sparser. Get rid of the lush chords and replace
them with percussive stabs, then remove every other beat.
Of course, that's just what I'd do.

sounds like hip hop house. a bit oddly mixed. very wide
stereo. some nice drum segments, but it doesn't feel like
the track really goes anywhere. maybe a build of
intensity/complexity of the drums would be in order. start
off pretty light and smooth with some easy patterns then
gradually make it harder and louder. right now it seems
pretty haphazardly and oddly done, with the bassy beat in
the middle etc. iono. do whatever you want.

I thought it was pretty bad, boring and have nothing really
constructive to add. Ask yourself what the listener should
take out of the experience listening to your music, and if
nothing, why?

i liked it but the chords in the background had literally
nothing to do with the rhythm section... It all seemed very
disjointed.

Oh don't, the set up for that "... no more innuendos, i'm
finding it hard concentrating" (paraphrased, there), massive
pause... "So how's your Beef Wellington?".

Lovely stuff.

i don't know, i just don't know, i just wish everyone on
both sides would put their emotions aside and see things
from others' perspectives and start being constructive. i
feel like the whole global society is crumbling bit by bit
every day and it discomforts me.

Even if you did mean it in a bad way, I'd still be quite
pleased. I certainly sympathise with the character a great
deal. The character I'd fear becoming is his old mate,
Degsy?, the one played by Mark Williams, "Iggy Pop's 50, and
he's still canning it" said shortly before *SPOILER* having
a heart attack.

they have legitimate grievences though..

i'll agree with you that the tactics...are
abominable and inexcusable, but not bothering to understand

where they're coming from and instead just labelling them as

selfish cunts won't do anything to defuse the situation..

yeah, what i loved about the series was how it's full of
truly awful people, most of whom are far worse than
saxondale himself... i sympathised with him quite a bit too.
that degsy character... oh man - i found it equally
depressing and funny, actually. it was a good change from
partridge where he's the focal cock (?) surrounded by
generally average people, but saying that i think we all
have a bit of alan in us anyway.
