thats pretty much how slayer is. This is really no different than any other record. Kerry King Shreds around. Drums. Vocals. You pretty much know exactly what you are going to get I wouldnt say all metal is like that though. But now i want peanut butter!!! |

ok, being a slayer fan for oh...the last 20 years i'm pretty dissappointed by this album. Granted, adding the original drummer isn't going to change much musically since the guitarists write the bulk of the material. I know how slayer have been making tracks for the last 3-4 albums...they wrote down red flag words...you know words that set people off and gain more public attention to your albums release...the put them up on a giant dart board and throw random darts at it...then lump those words together.... then recycle some guitar riffs...practice them for a few weeks, record the album..then sit on it for a year or two... unlike metallica slayer has stayed true and not changed what kind of music they're making...but they're just making generic metal and slapping the slayer name on it... -10/10 totally not impressed or listening to the cd still. it'll make a decent coaster. |
