Run your instrument or whatever it is through an effects
line in FL or Abelton. That might work if you have a good
computer. Or get a PA System with a mixer that has built in
effects, or just by the mixer with effects alone.

On mine, there are 10 effects and I can adjust 2 parameters
for each, like "level" and "amount" or something.

If you JUST want Reverb and Delay, I suggest looking at the
latest Behringer guitar effects pedals. You can still use
them with synths, etc. They're £15 each (for simple ones,
not much more for more Vintage or Complex FX) so they're not
a bad buy even if you end up circuit bending them or
something.... :D

-Korg Kaos Pad $200 apx
-Alesis Quadraverb GT (it has 7 additional effects&autechre
use this one) $100 apx
-Lexicon Vortex $100-$200apx
-Kerzweil Rumor/Mangler $500apx
-Alesis Air FX $80apx
-Electrix Mo FX (no reverb, just a modulation multieffect
unit)$150apx
-Digitech Studio Quad 4 (don't know personally but they have
good reviews) $150apx
-Line 6 DL4 $250apx

There is also some good TC Electronics stuff and other good
lexicon stuff, and yamaha stuff as well. Can't think of any
names of hand. I personally avoid multieffect units, as I
feel that unless you really need space, you are going to get
better sounds out of things that are designed for one thing
and one thing only.

Unless your on a really tight budget don't do behringer
(unless you don't care whether or not they still work or
sound good in a years time)

As I said, it's not bad if you end up circuit bending the
Behringers.

I'm inclined to buy a modular case, a power supply, and then
buy some affordable paia kits or doepfer effects. Then you
can tailor your effects and do crazy shit that you can't get
with a packaged effect unit.

You should just buy/build a modular anyway cos they're
great.

You know, this topic has kind of inspired me to get serious
about building a modular. For no reason other than it got me
looking at modulars again.

The marshall time modulator is probably the most wicked
effects box you can get. Its expenise and fragile and no one
knows how to fix it, though.

TC M300 is a good basic delay + reverb box for its price.
+ comes with some silly phasers, tremolos & flangers.
