Yo, just reporting this little change. I'm going to be working here for at least two months. If I play my cards right I'm going to have a car and be able to live a night life of a sort. I'm looking for club recommendations and/or Icelandic XLTers. |

don't know about clubs but some tips visit 12tónar record shop if it still exists its very nice, they have a room where you can sit on sofas and listen to the records and they give you free coffee... listen to sigriður nielsdóttir's cdr's. sit on the coast of the atlantic ocean drive to mid iceland and wander around landmannalaugar and climb on glaciers and visit an open countryside church and play the harmonium visit akureyri wear a hat good luck! |

Thank you very much fat kaimo. Out of these I've only climbed a tiny glacier on the west coast of the island a year ago. It was really hot then and the glacier was melting. I fell into a narrow crevace up to my belt, got scared and turned back 200 meters from the top. tridenti: AB haven't visited XLT for a while. I saw Atli quite recently though. I think I did anyway. The wather is fine for a guy tired by 6 weeks of scorching sun (12-18C, little wind, no rain so far). |

Iceland is the best place I've ever been to, just worship nature there that would be sufficient imo, for clubs I cannot remember as I strictly went to bars (still cant remember their names neither) mostly because it's really expensive (everything) |

I will welcome any help in finding the underground culture of Reykjavik. I've wandered the streets of the city on the night of the great fest. What a mess! hehe, I've never seen so many broken bottles. But it was cool and peaceful generally. Sad thing is I don't have much free time. If I work 10 hours during a day, it's holiday for me. For now the record is 18h on last Tuesday. |
