is there any good audio software in which you can step-sequence chords ala Band-in-a-Box? you know, to lay a harmonic base to your tracks in a quick and convenient way? Cadences and stuff?
i'm using Live 5, so if you know any VSTs that can do that i'll love you.
just recently bumped into chordspace, which is a nice plugin actually, but missing any midi input, which makes it rather useless imo.
does any host software have a feature like that already built in?

why do you need a plugin for that? just play the chords yourself :/

don't have a proper keyboard. :( anything i play with the pc keyboard has shitty latency. point-and-click editing of the piano roll works fine for melodies, but chords are no fun that way.
i'd need... or better, is there at all, a plugin which tells me "hey buddy, we're in Dmin7#9 now, coming up next is Ab sus 4#++§!"
and vice versa. something that lets me punch in chords assigned to keys or similar.
well. would make compositions much easier imo.
