\\\\\\ALL YOU CAN BEAT PRESENT//////
-----------------------------------------------------------
------

What's that date again? - "Fri Aug 4th!!".

Electromeca:
A very talented musician from Rennes, France - the home of
breakcore leaders
Peace Off Records on which label people have got to know his
original
crunchy, funky, chippy, choppy, distorto Hip Hopish sound.
For the past 4
years he has been headlining sell-out shows across europe in
a bid to
re-invent the beakcore sound and inject some funk into the
equation. Each
and every release he has had and the many collaborations
with well renowned
and respected artists (such as Rotator, Parasite, Society
Suckers, Enduser,
I:Gor, Cylob etc.) has met with critical acclaim amongst
reviewers and
punters alike. His sound is high on energy, filled with funk
and has a trunk
load of originality to keep those eager legs bopping on the
dance floor and
those open mouths pleading for more, more, more!!

He has been a drummer for 12 years, 6 of which he spent
playing around
France, Europe and Morroco. His musical influences are wide
and varied and
range from Art-of-Noise to John Coltrane to Pink Floyd, The
Orb, Muzlimgauze
and James Brown. And his original sound is matched by the
originality of his
performance as turntables, computers and fx combine to
augment this unique
flavour of electronic madness.

Support on the night comes from the darlings of the Dublin
breakcore scene
in the form of Lakker who have been nothing short of
prolific over the past
year, playing gig after gig and building a solid name and
following as a
result.
