It's a tad on the demented side, which is cool. The hihats
sound really raped because of the multiband(I assume)
compression, which gives it a nice piercing effect to
further the demented torture :D

I love those plucks(surprise) at around 3:19

yeah, the hihats are really nasty because of
stretching/eq-ing... just what daddy ordered.

I like it, nice.

I made a techno and I added a lot of effects and I spammed it in your
thread. OH YES.

It's cool, I dig that little arpeggio you've got going up on
the left side :)

droning, beautiful techno with arpeggiating madness abound.
the synth fills are marvellous, and the pulsating beat
drives the track very well. the odd panning bit was
unsettling.

lovely!

reminds of GAK, a little. nice synth sound @ 0:50, well
introduced. then very repetitive but i guess it's supposed
to. don't get the track evolution.

Sounds wery chill/clubbish. Feels like you should be talking
to chicks, sipping something while listening to this. I very
much like those crunchy/dusty sounds you use in this track.

I think i'm beginning to understand your music better.

I dig that tight compression on the track. Its sort of
grimey, wich i now you like. I like the sounds, and i like
the beat. I dont know about the melody. A bit to repetetive
for my taste, but that can be good. But a slight variation
might help it.

But all in all, an enjoyable track, with promise

The repeat play, what more could one ask? Cheers ears! I
know it's dead basic, and it's dead rude me stuffing it in
Staz's thread, and it would need doing properly, but yeah, I
have been listening again to a lot of a classic techno and
Basic Channel, and I just love how they take seemingly
simple elements and make something... so expansive with
them. I'm not saying this is anything like those but, that's
my... starting point. I was trying to do something with the
"beat" to make it kind of.. push and pull, as if it pushed
ahead then dragged back. If I knew anything about music it
would be easy I am sure. As I don't I just have to fiddle,
fiddle, fiddle, fiddle, hit the fx up to 11, and fiddle and
then get to the point whereI can't even hear it anymore.
That is the life of the amateur would-be faceless techno
male ingenue.

Yay..... You sort of hi-jacked his thread!

Seriously now, that thing you are describing, i could hear
it was something like that you where trying to do, so thats
cool

Staz's track: Kind of repetitive. For me, minor beat
variations just don't keep my interest unless the thing
that's being repeated is outright beautiful. What I like a
lot about your track is a simple element -- how there's this
one continuous bass note droning throughout the whole thing.
Added this nice cold machine feeling to it. But the melody
was really drab, and the beat could've been played with a
lot more. But you know, I like changing things, and that's
just my personal defect.

Dog Belch: I really like the feel and sound of the song.
You've definitely captured that basic channel sound to a
certain degree. What I don't like is the structure. It's
really simple. Hm. I know that repetition has its
applications, and that techno (if you want to call it that)
is usually SUPPOSED to be repetitive. But I just get the
nagging feeling that, outside of knob twiddling to fine tune
the sounds themselves, you could've made this track in
twenty minutes.

Oh I did, well I didn't, well... in a way, I made a track,
over time, and then someone gave me a HOT TIP about fiddling
in Ableton so I took that track and FIDDLED with it and then
out of that mess took 4 loops and then stuck them together
with a couple of minor extras. So.... you're right really.
