yep sir ye doo dar, my home, sought of, has blocked youtube
through etisalat which is the only real internet provider
(and still complete shite, DSL is slower then uk 56K by
alot) this is when its monopoly ended (and i have that at home... But seen as youtube isnt a porn fiesta
you can ask the question why? every single person i know
back there is fucking pissed. and we've all down seperate
port settings via wherever to bypass, but ive known people
getting actually fucked and thrown in jail just for doing
that.

but alas if i was there i would probably be happy when i
cracked a way to get past all the bullshit fascism as it
just makes the porn and the fun stuff so much more
rewarding. it certainly did back in my day anyway.

Oh no, repressive regieme. Take up arms for the right to
access funny videos. Got to jail if neccessary in order to
see old 80s video clips or the one of the cat taking a shit
in a toilet.

i guess if you want sympathy you're going to have to have
your freedoms unnecessarily restricted by your government
and the worst trip of your life at the same time.

i look forward to your thread...

dang, I've just tested it and it gets stuck on the actual
video page. What you are locking for on google anyways is
"free online proxy server"

i object to the comments made above; prehaps if you lived in
a society that told you what you can & can't view you would
have a different outlook. tbh i think your points of view
are somewhat shallow and naive.

We all live in a societies that tell us what we can and
can't view / think / do etc. I think your comment is shallow
and naive.

There is a certain amount of fascism one can expect from
their government. That is a fact of life. But when your
government tells you that you cannot want to watch old 80s
video clips or the one of the cat taking a shit in a toilet
without going to jail, then its not hard to see somethings
gone wrong.

this is so sad. why does nobody care about protecting the
internet and the freedom it represents? its not about the
porn and funny videos.. its about personal freedom.

its already starting, net neutrility etc.. this is all kinds
of wrong and nobody gives a shit.

i didnt think the UAE would do anything like this. they
always come across as quite benevolent and caring.

Maybe they just got tired of people sending them emails with
links to "funny" YouTube videos, so they cut out the problem
at root. Very sensible policy, if you ask me.

i think one of the main reasons is that 'some' arabs just go
really crazy with porn and women, as they dont have other
means to view it. then some teacher or parent runs off
screaming at them and they have to do it.

anyway here are some of my friends 'shredding' the main
etisalat building up. yeah fuck you yehhhhhhh!!!!
