Can people please help me. I do not know wether to call the
sounds on the Aphex Twin track Heliosphan an organ sound or
a string sound. Can you give me somje suggestions. Also just
for your intrest on Aphex Twin's equipment, it has been
confirmed that he uses a Korg MS20, a Roland TR-707, Roland
TR-727. Roland TR-606, Roland MC-202, Roland SH 101, just
for your intrest

Hello.

I´d definitely say it´s a string sound.
Try to make such a sweeping sound with an organ, it would
just sound plain and boring.

i think it also has something to do with the great server
