i just tried to buy something on ebay (an out of print coil cd) and i feel like i made a big mistake... i often buy things through online stores but i've never seen such a fucking mess! the item was on "buy it now", i ordered it, chose paypal (i probably shouldn't have) and i just have to pay the seller now — but i just don't get how i'm supposed to do it. when i want to pay, the site (paypal) tells me to login, then enter my credit card information, which i do, but i can't get past the page where it tells me to enter my credit card information... when i fill it in and click on "continue", i get an error message telling me that that credit card is already entered on my paypal account and i'm still on the same page... i have no idea of what's going on there, maybe the site is having problems, or i have a problem, but i'm starting to feel really bad about this. help, please...? : ( |

Did you read all the pages carefully for each step? I remember when I first signed up to Paypal I had to wait to see a "test" transaction on my bank statement and enter it's reference (thus, I assume, proving I am me to Paypal's satisfaction). |

register onto paypal first (seperately) > just go straight to paypal.com and not through ebay |

i am registered on paypal, yes... i had to choose between phone, sms or credit card for verification when i registered and i chose credit card so maybe it would be what xceque said, but i can't find a place to enter a reference... i tried everything, it's been several hours since i'm on this now. |

check your online bank statement if you can do that. that way you won't have to wait until your next printed statement in the mail |
