I like the melody that comes in around 0:50, definitely adds a needed layer of notes. The initial synth was beginning to sound reptitive, and the second melody saved it a bit.
My primary criticism is that the track doesn't really go anywhere. It doesn't change significantly. But then again, that's just me. I really prefer a lot of change in tracks, and not everyone feels the same way. So take that for what it's worth.
I think the track could be given a lot more juice if you just modified the initial melody a bit from measure to measure. Maybe have it an octave higher or lower occasionally? Change a few of the notes? Make it go quiet, then come back with a bang?
