was just looking forward to getting my usb audiophile till
the salesman at the store told me they are crap and are
prone to going faulty... does anyone agree with this?

he recommended a tascam 122 or edirol ua25 instead...
does anyone own one of these units? -what do you think of
your unit?

I agree about the audiophile, but strongly disagree with the
rest.

dislike the three of them.

heard about the audiophile problems before. suffered in some
m8's computa. never solved.

used the edirol, but is just a cheap breakthroughbox.

and abut the tascam, dunno. just know there may b better
options 4 sho!

(but as far as I get it, u look for a usb card to plug a
laptop, dontcha?)

my m8 swears by the audiophile
i couple of contacts have said the tascam is very reliable,
'solid as a rock' was one quote.

i went for the audiophile cos its practically the same as my
2496 (which has been perfect in my desktop). not bothered
about loads of midi connections, i just wanna get rid of the
latency probs on my laptop...
