Team Doyobi were the highlight for me. Autechre would have
been excellent if it wasn't for the fact loads of people sat
down talking and the conversations managed to drown out the
all too low music. As it was it was just excellent. I
thought pretty much everything else was wank, not always the
artists fault. I also owe Chris a pint next time I see him.

Oh and the lack of people in the tent for a guy called
gerald was fucking pathetic.

I thought it sounded more like Mr 76ix to be honest, but it
said Doyobi on the guide and I never went totally into the
tent because I was too hot. Whoever it was was the
highlight of my Glade this year...my last ever Glade by all
accounts.

drown out the noise with cellphone chatter and conversation.
sucks!! :(

you werent even in the tent? christ. sorry but dont slam the
festival if you couldnt even go inside the fucking tent.
autechre was loud enough near the front, did you think of
going there? not enough people for gerald... maybe they were
too hot to go inside the tent and were just standing outside
complaining it was too quiet? i dont like you anymore

Prick.

I never said I never went into any tent during the festival,
just while Doyobi was meant to be playing. For ae I was
near the front, in the middle, with them just to the left of
me...it still wasn't loud enough and peoples conversations
were audible.

I paid my money the same as everyone else and I didn't think
it was anywhere near as good as last year, especially after
getting into an arguement with the stupid fucking meat head
security on the Saturday.

Oh, and for the record, I've never liked you so I'm glad the
balance has finally been redressed.

alright well i may have over reacted to some extent, i guess
Im inclined to beiieve its your own fault if you couldnt
enjoy yourself there and Im sure you are in the minority. I
dont know exactly what it was that cost them extra this year
so I spose i agree with you there. and I didnt encounter any
security at all. I suppose i just dont know what made you
not like it... there was nobody there? I cant think of any
way that makes sense. anyway i apologise for being a prick

The atmosphere just seemed different this year. I can't
explain it myself that well. My problem with security came
after I complained about the fact a group of about 4 people
decided to throw up between my tent and the one in front and
I wanted someone to do something (even throw dirt over it,
I'd have done it myself if they lent me a shovel or
something) bit they wouldn't do shit. In the end I moved my
tent. The price of food and stuff had gone up a lot over
last year, there were more people there and the queues were
stupid. The quality of the music just didn't grab me this
year (probably a shift in my taste) and I lost £100 on the
Thursday evening. The volume was something they said would
be sorted this year after Squarepusher etc. last year and
nothing had changed.

i barely had a chance to see any acts I didnt already own
releases by, only over the lunchtime slots really... and
considering Overkill got their name on the tent there was
satisfyingly little shit gabba breakcore filler in prime
slots, certainly less than last year. if you dont like
losing things and pissing money away on shit burgers then
festivals may not be your thing. diffrent strokes
