I live near Liverpool in the north west of England, and I'm fucking roasting here. It's okay for all you people in warmer climes, but really, we're not used to this up here.

Yeah, I can't get to sleep at home, and as soon as I get into the air-conditioned office at nine'o'clock after a sweltering sleepless night I just want to collapse.
I feel a bit sick all the time as well. I can't eat anything. I'm gonna be a skinny fucker with massive dark rings under my eyes by the end of the summer.

The point is when people near the equator post their complaints about hot weather, at least they are used to it. We never usually have summers this hot in limey-land.
I can't remember it being this hot since 1995 or something. I vaguely remember the Tories having a hosepipe ban, so it must have been yonks ago!

the summer of 2003 was a vicious bastard, if I remember correctly.
that was pretty much a prolongued heatwave, or at least it was overhere, but that mostly means it'll have been the same for the UK.

WOAH. I feel bad for you guys. Hope all this doesn't have to do with some wierd climate changes that could ruin us. All those hurricanes the past year/our season (Midwest US had some odd weather this past fall through spring, I don't know about the rest of the world.)

nice try, but:
- won't work outside, which is the main offender - switching between air conditioned areas and blistering heat outside pretty much makes you sweat like a motherfucking waterfall
- living in old buildings which are too hard to close off, making it impossible to do any real air conditioning
- air that passes through air conditioners is instantly made shit, makes you cough and feel like an asthmatic (or even change you into one, if you're unlucky).

I was mowing the lawn with a push mower... (we do have a riding mower) and i realized that i need a squeege for my back) There was so much sweat that i had a dusey of a time getting my shirt off.
I think i sweat elmers glue. LOL
I suppose we should figure out a way to air condition the earth. Come let us reason together!

We've had at least 33C for two weeks already. On friday we're back to 36C and it doesn't look like it's going to change. The highlanders from Tatra mountains predicted an incredibly rainy summer, I hope they die.
