yeah, i really don't like her. ....i think i just came to the point where i've had enough of her stucking her nose in everybody's lives. now and again i hear stories from various family members about what she did to this or that person.....fucking shame.....my dad's brothers/sisters simply don't want to visit my parents because of her... too much to talk about |

i'm of the completely opposite view - a kid down the road used to whine "muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmm" at his mother. it's forever tarnished the word. I hate it. Despise it. also, it's spelled "mother" not "muther", even though it does have the "uh" (phonetic letter: v) sound to it. so i go with mom. and on the subject of moms, mine is the best. she's really lovely, has helped me when i've gotten into lots of trouble on numerous occasions (setting fire to school, getting caught smuggling drugs, getting caught bringing a gun onto a plane, etc etc etc) and never gave out to me too much. however, on the occasion of her catching me smoking (a joint, but she thought it was a cigarette) for the first time, she chased me around the house at 2am, throwing knives and cutlery at me, and when she ran out of them she started hurling books at me, which were in plentiful supply. that wasn't a nice episode. all in all, i'd give my mother 9.5/10. <3 |

it was on september 12th as well. schiphol airport, flying to belfast airport. i saw it come up on the scanner they have there, this metal outline of a gun, and i was so stoned i burst out laughing.. really wasn't very funny though. it was only a bb-gun, but it was a replica, so they treated it as if i'd tried to bring on a real gun. |

My mom is great, would do anything for me, but she's not very good at the ''technical'' side of mothering. She raised me lovingly yet awkwardly and never gave me any ''tough love'' or responsibilities or anything. And it shows. I'm not remotely difficult to deal with anyway but she certainly could have sculpted my psyche better. I see the way she treats kids and I think she's far too lax, if I have kids they're getting a totally different treatment than I did. I'm not blaming her for my flakiness but she's too soft (despite being very loud). On the plus side, I'm highly strung and all nerves and she's often the only person that can remedy this. You know how it is, some moms seem to have omnipotent mental-healing powers. Or maybe she caused my nerves by letting me off easy. Who knows. I feel guilty for criticizing her methods. 10/10 anyway. |
