Anyway, Kid 606's new album "Pretty Girls make Graves" (How
True!) is what I've been waiting for from him. Lots of
dancefloor friendly-beats and jams. This is gonna get well
and truly rinsed out round at chez swears.

OH. YES.

I'm getting it tomorrow, or at least ordering it at HMV.
I used to try and order stuff at the local independent shop
(Probe Records) but it never turns up, I think they're
stoned all day.

Yeah, I like that alright.
I just like the idea of Kid606 making a straight-up dance
album.

something like this.

That sounds awesome. More great driving music for road
trips.

Fuck this album kicks ass. I hope warp hears this and drops
squarepusher from their roster.

ahahhAHAAHAHAHHAHA

i hate all these "warp are dead" posts all the time, but if
that happened, warp would TRULY be dead.

How is that a warp is dead post? I just want them to drop
squarepusher.

Why do people always assume that if someone says something
about an artist on warp they are saying that warp has lost
their touch.

warp cannot die. it is a record label, not a living entity.
however it is capable of going shit.

warp has gone shit.

There was a time about 4-5 years ago when I was truly
obsessed with Kid 606 and bought nearly everything he came
out with. I still like him, I just can't keep up with his
output. The last think I bought by him was 'Kill sound
before sound kills you,' which was okay. He has Venetian
Snares syndrome, only not as bad.

He is far more orinal than venetian snares. His stuff has a
lot more heart in it, and he's interested in things outside
of electronica/jungle.
