I've been a pretty loyal adobe audition (aka cool edit)
user for quite sometime...and i'm kinda pissed that its not
available for the mac OS. Can someone reccomend a decent or
comparable editor to use/record etc??

everyone uses Audacity. Im too used to Sound Studio although
the latest version which has timestretching and multiple
channels is very unstable for me

i loved Peak for the harmonic rotate feature...could do some
interesting stuff with that

Peak is the only reason i'd stay with the Macintosh...but
there's too many other things that are keeping me away from
it

oh well!

Audacity is nice because of how free it is. Peak on the
other hand is very not free.

i've been using amadeus ii for a few years now, basic
waveform editor with some pretty neat features and great
free plugins. they have a trial version and it's pretty
cheap to purchase.
