I live in New Jersey

The State government of NJ has shut down.

I'm not too keen on what's going on but it will most likely
be a disaster.

No lottery, state run municipal courts, state employment,
casinos, and other thangs if the budget isn't approved for
whatever.

So basically, since this is a very international board, has
anyone else in the world heard about this?

I hope the casinos will shut down for good and there will be
a civil war between north and south jersey.

i heard about it, yes.

i live in new york, and as a new yorker... i'm afraid i
have to just look the other way and let you jersey boys duke
it out amongst the landfills. you'd better just hope
Pennsylvania doesn't take this opportunity to invade you.

It's been a decade since I last lived in (south) Jersey, so
I haven't been too up-to-date on that stuff. I just remember
Christie Whitman was governor at the time, I think.

I lived near Nyack for a few months last year and had to
commute through new jersey to get to new york. It's a bit
crap isn't it in new jersey?
