OK so i didn't wnat to post this because i wanted to keep
it all for myself but I guess i have to share. This is a
fantastic resource that should be sampled to death.
Listening to them is so relaxing! Its basically short wave
radio statins transmitting random coded messages.

Spys on the airwaves!

Conet

its such hypnotic listening! some of them are so relaxing
its like the ultimate ambient. that gongs one sound slike
something from BOC all detuned with teh computer clicks in
the background and the whole shortwave sound is lush.

I wish i knew what the codes meant eheh!

all these weird stations and having no idea what it was all
about........ now I know! Many thanks!

Someone posted this a while ago, I've known about it for
quite some time. I STILL need to chop some of them up to do
a cover of Numbers. That would rock.

Don't sample Conet Project for an oficial release!!
...Irdial (the label) sued somebody (can't remember who) and
won the case (30 or 40.000$)

Btw: Conet Project is one of my all time fav cd's :)

Ok, I googled it ..there was'nt an actual case, but..

Wilco, the band's lawyers would eventually explain, figured
there was no copyright on sound that anyone could have heard
on the radio, that obviously wasn't a song and that hadn't
in any way been artistically altered. Whatever the merits of
the case -- and Fernandez says the law in England is clearly
on his side -- Wilco settled out of court, saying it
preferred to skip a drawn-out fight. That was in late June.
The band's label sent Irdial-Discs, aka Akin Fernandez,
about $30,000 to cover his legal costs, plus a royalty
payment several times that sum. See if you can guess what
Fernandez did with the money.

(the above text should be in italic, how do I do that?) :p

They're fine as they are. Don't fucking delve into them
going "Wooah, lush, must sample these in my next IDM magnus
opus"... just fucking leave them alone.
