i don't see the point when the control interface is so
different, plus the multiplayer experience will be radically
changed with no split screen etc

Yeah, I don't think I'd really want to play these games any
other way. The control schemes are dated but... they work
and the levels and missions were designed with them in mind.
And of course you NEED to have four sweaty, bellowing males
huddled together in close proximity with handling their
greasy controllers like extensions of their dicks or it's
not Goldeneye.

I think it's an interesting idea though, I'll have to try it
out sometime. These levels are like mythological digital
landmarks. Well worth revisiting.

I still have my N64 sitting out, I still find these games
supremely enjoyable. I'm sure a lot of it is nostalgia but
then again, Perfect Dark's Combat Simulator is still
ridiculously
robust even now.

What I really want... these games, untouched gameplay, with
bumped up resolutions and frame-rates on Wii. The framerate
in the crazier Perfect Dark multiplayer modes are pretty
hard to swallow. Not going to happen though I guess.

qrter: lolz you should play goldeneye it's a great game

i found perfect dark to be rather horrible

the multiplayer is highly regarded but i find multiplayer to
be stoopid and not a reason to buy a game

1-player 4 life

Golden eye was fantastic. We used to have 2 TV's setup with
an arial splitter, 4 player death match, 2 people per TV.
Shit, I spent far to many Friday nights on that game.

me and my friends taped a fucking cardboard bit vertically
in the middle of a 24" screen and divided teams vertically,
then we sat on each side and sniped each other

so fucking ghetto

stealth.
