Animosity betwen Tim Exile and VSnares?

last friday both of them were playing at electrowerkz. Tim
Exile was meant to play straight after VSnares at 5, yet
VSnares didn't finish his set until like 5:20. It was quite
funny seeing Tim Exile standing on the stage looking pissed
for 20mins while VSnares was playing.

I was wonderin if there was any documented animosty between
them, or whether it was just the fact VSnares played 20mins
into Exile's allocated set.

Heres a pic for all you lot anyway.

All pop stars hate each other.

there is traditionally an eternal state of vendetta between
every IDM star and every other one

i swear thats not true. Don't Cylob and Aphex live in teh
same appartment. Aphex and Luke Vibert are old "buddies"
from cornwall. When Luke'Vibert's electronics and stuff
malfunctioned at a Poke night a few months ago it was DJ
Rephlex Records that came to the rescue. Mike Paradinas and
Cylob also seemed qite friendly and chatty.

To name a few examples...

yes, i know!

but it would be cooler if they went around killing
eachother, like rap stars

lol- but Electronica/IDM isn't like rap music. Kill a rap
star off and 17 new ones are ready to replace him.

Kill Aphex off and an irreplaceable void forms.

no damn animosity. it's just they didn't know how long
they're supposed to play.

it's the club owner's fault, not the musicians.

stop spreading idm_hate.

well the times the sets would last were quite well
documented in posters and sheets around the whole venue .
And seeing as it didn't happen to anyone else give or take a
few mins (not give or take 20 mins!) I'm sure it wasn't the
organisers fault.

no it would be "balbality" seeing as in japanese the letter
"r" sounds like the letter "l"- or sumthing like that.

peepee in case venetian snares finished while he was away.

If you were playing at 5am, would you stay up late, or get
up early?

stay up late. You can enjoy ur fellow IDM artist's music.
(that is if you don't hate them too much).

Tim was probably annoyed at you Xeron, staring at him,
looking him up and down and generally checking him out.
Instead of trying to flirt and catch Tims eye, next time
just introduce yourself then everyone will feel a little
less wierd.

Well he did use a sort of phallic shaped vo-coder attached
to his private regions at the beginning of his set. It was
actually quite funny, he was swinging from the overhead
pipes while shouting abuse using the mentioned vocoder while
frantic beats played in the backround. He almost ended up
being crowd "surfed".

be an asshole.

neh the ONLY reason snares ran over was because one of Tims
laptops was fucked and he was preoccupied trying to sort it.
Snares was doing him a favour but looked pissed off by 5.20
and just stopped without any indication to do so from Tim.

youre annoying xeron but heres what actually happened: luke
vibert let the guys before him do another song because hes
nice like thqat which meant he was ten minutes late to begin
and then he played more than an hour so snares came on quite
late, i doubt snares had even played an hour by the time
exile came on and tim exile is nice also so im sure he didnt
mind, yep

well i was listening to Milanese at the same time Vibert was
doing his set. I didn't know he'd run over in terms of time.
Also itr wasn't just me who thought Time Exile looked
pissed; i was just wondering (reason why there was a
question mark at the end of the title of this thread)
whether was any animosity between them. Plus i'd heard
before that Vsnares isn't as "chummy" with other idm
artists.

I loved Tim Exile's joystick activities. All I heard were
the words "cock" and "base-line drugs", but watching him
bend his voice by waggling the device in front of his crotch
area was a wonderous experience. No wonder Native
Instruments like him so much.
