Don't know if you are looking at any more suggestions, but
I looked at the sticky's and there doesn't seem to be any up
there at the moment. It just came to mind that an option to
read only posts by specific users at the top of the thread
would be very usefull. Like a drop menu. Also, a quote
feature for each post would be usefull too. They do that on
another messageboard that I use, and I like it a lot more
than the clicking post number thing. You can also respond to
a number of separate posts at once.

I think the quote thing would be neat and wouldn't get in
the way of the mnmlsm. I don't like bolding and italicizing.

The messageboard I am talking about is em411.com

To open up the menu that allows you to quote people, you
have to click on a little plus icon on the top of the post.
Once you press that, it allows you to do things like quote,
mark messages as useless so the trolling messages get
minimized, and edit your own threads. The marking as useless
mixed with the edit function acts as a perfect example of
empowering a community to moderate itself, instead of making
the threads hardwired, and expecting the members to act like
idiots.
