in order: autechre, ep7, tri rep & chichlisuite (last 2 a tie). According to the majority vote, I think tri rep came out on top at autechre.nu. |

i seem to have obtained a copy of tri repetae on CD by them (only stuff ive heard by autechre). does it remind anyone else of saw2? i think its just me. do they do fast stuff? do they do it well? cheers. |

yeah, they do faster stuff, 'er.....on chiastic slide, which is my fave, but i do admit - i've not heard every thing by them. i didn't really like confield either, but that's just me. |

Do they do fast stuff!? Do they do it well?! OD, my friend, you MUST get a copy of "autechre". Listen to samples at cdnow.com. Acroyear2 is the fastest song I've ever heard. It's like sensory overload. The title is fitting, it's like a whole year compressed into 8 minutes. This is probably my favorite cd, period. You must get it. The whole album is done so well, it's like looking at microscopic images. This is an album people tend to either love or hate though. |

Yeah, that's pretty much true, Glitch. There are a few exceptions like anti EP and incunabula. I just got amber in the mail. It's laying on my bed, I havn't heard it yet. EP7 is practically part two of "autechre", so I recommend that one equally as much- maybe just slightly slightly less. |
