I'm 19, I look 14. Perhaps I'm like that dude who's 50 (has that rare condition) where his body doesn't grow, and he looks like a child still, yet an adults mind. My looks really ruin my life... Girls my age will turn off on me a split second from looking at me cos' I look 14, which is totally understandable, but I have no way to combat that. So, the result is... I have had a bit of a shit life really, bullied, no friend in middle school// infact all my friends hates me cos they were the ones to actully bully me, so i had to find new ones. Anyway, I have never had a girlfriend, and I only had my first kiss up til I was 18 where I met this girl (16) and i had sex with her 3 times, fri,sat,sunday, then broke up with her on monday. I never came once, and I didn't even like the sex. She turned on me anyway, and had (what it seemed) a split personality. Since then i've been pretty put off on sex, although I need some. I also have this really wierd chest thing, and it's really not attractive... I think something is seriously wrong with my growth genes. finally! someone who is in the exact same situation as me :D trust me, exsub, i know exactly how you feel. i turned 18 in january this year, and (yes its true) people think i look 13-14 as well :( I'm the same as you, haven't really had much of a 'social' life, i keep to myself really, never really hit puberty as much as normal people do either. i was always really depressed and i wasn't an active kid - i could never play sports, got tired quickly and stuff. so eventually i realised something must be wrong with my genes/DNA whatever. and then early 2006 (yep, just this year), i had some blood tests done. after being hospitalised for 5 days, they finally diagnosed me as having coeliac disease (or 'celiac' as alternative spelling). it basically means that because i'm hugely allergic to wheat products - man's staple food, especially these days - a reaction occurred from the toxic 'gluten' component and resulted in my body being SEVERLY MALNOURISHED! That's why i've always been really thin/pale/short etc. Even in 6 months life has improved both physically and psychologically - i'm not so depressed anymore, have more confidence, and i'm 'developing' a bit faster now (though i'm still WAY behind either 18 year olds). So yeah man, YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE! And its fucking difficult. It really is. People give me shit about it all the time, sometimes I've been close to suicidal..... But yeah, get some blood tests done for sure. Or at least I would if i were you - in my case, this could've been fixed years ago, if i knew about it :( |
