i'd like to say hi to everyone, thank the people who've listened to my weekly radio program, and show my appreciation for the respect you've paid my girlfriend. it just goes to show that you can't stereotype girls - some not only like idm, but they actually have very interesting opinions to share on electronic music and other subjects. they're not just on the boards to be flirted with, but talked to as normal human beings, and i was pleased to hear that so many people here have recognized that. anyway, as you might've heard (but probably forgot) i haven't been able to log onto this site for 3 or 4 weeks now. for some strange reason i've had access to all of the internet on my college network connection EXCEPT for aphextwin.nu and autechre.nu. every other page loaded except for those. i can't tell you how frustrating it was, and my school's networking staff said they didn't do anything and had no solutions. phobia's been very patient, helpful, and understanding. i've tried each day to load the site and today (march 7th) is the first day in a long time that it's loaded. i hope the problem has been solved (as mysteriously as it was created) and this is not just a fluke. i look forward to spending a good amount of time this afternoon catching up with a lot of you and your posts (my girlfriend has sent me a few of the most amusing ones via email). in a few minutes i need to head off to class, but i just wanted to drop a line to those of you that know me (i say that because there're so many new people just in the last few weeks). i hope every one of you is doing spectacular. |

well it's been fun scanning through 1500 topics, but i need to be going now. i have an hour of family guy to watch tonight, and before that i'm going to try to listen to the new dj shadow album(!!!!!!), take a shower, and eat dinner. then do some homework and practice guitar. fuck yea! practice your instruments if you have 'em people! we will jam together in spirit. |
