I had that problem with one track. I just deleted the cut
file and re-downloaded and it worked fine, though. Sorry,
wish I could help out more. Is your connection fast
enough?? I'm on a t1 line over a network (but no ones
probably on it right now since they're all doing work most
likely) so I'm getting it almost exclusively to me and I'm
only getting a transfer rate of about 70k/sec.

key....my connection is the same with it being over a
network. thing is i should be working too. shame.

I didn't have a problem downloading, it kind of took longer
than usual to gather the file info. but other than that no
problem. I'm listening to it right now and it's sounding
ace!!! :)

bought the limited edition version today. has very cool
digipack design a la 'geogaddi', and has 2 bonus tracks:
original mix of 'giving up the ghost' and on the bonus disc
the 16 minute live 'pushin buttons' performance w/ numark
and cut chemist. phat.

shadow thanks a TON of people in the credits. among them are
radiohead, warp records and automator (for anyone who still
thinks he's still pissed at automator).

interestingly, jack dangers (meat beat manifesto) is
credited with musical assistance on the album.

did anyone buy fuckin' astrobotnia part one?

Yeah, its the new album, called "The private press"

i went to the cd signing at virgin megastore today. He
played 4 songs (Awesome) and signed stuff (i got my cd, and
my special pass signed) and he gave out free posters. I also
got my pic taken with him, and got various shots of him
scratching

ill scan em once i get the photos developed, and ill put em
on the net :)

-Zeus
ps, the album rocks so hard. its even better then his
previous stuff, and that says alot!

that's cool, which songs did he do? what was your special
pass for? what do the postes look like?

looking forward to seeing the pics.

he did 2 new ones... not sure of the names... havnt listened
to the songs that much to get em in my head!

and the ones that are old, came from premtive strike... uh,
shit, i forget the names... track 2, and track 5 i think.
(What does your sole look like i think?)

the pass was to get it. you got it by buying a copy of his
album. it has a picture of the cd, and says "Djshadow live,
at 6 pm, june 4th.

the poster has the cover art, and says DJ SHADOW, in his
firsyt full lentgth solo album since entorducing

he did some amazing scratching. there was this one part
where he had all these differnt drum breaks on his decks,
and he cut back and forth between them, it was so tight.

* i meant, the pass was to get IN

yeah, he did track 2 from premtive strike, the one with the
guy saying "uptown the dj appears" and the other one with
the sample thats like "so this guy calculates all day long
and all nigh long, and everyonce in awhile he lets you take
alittle" or something like that.
