Dannn_ if you really don't like yoyur voice, crack/ dl vocal
and pitch correction VSTs or something. Antares makes a
REALLY nice one. I don't use it though, not enough money &
can't be bothered to get the serial.

A good tip is to make a melody line that goes along with
what you sing. Makes it sound more clean.

Phobiazero sez:

"Hmmm.... there are still two other Vibes going on.
Just make sure this one won't face the same fate - just make
sure to finish
it.

Xltronic Vibes #19 is born.

Cheers and good luck!

still listen to it.

my track is ready. i sing in it. or rather - moan. where do
i send it swears and or what is the deadline for this vibes
?

Hold onto them for the moment.
I should have some proper space sorted for these tunes in
the next couple of days.
I can't decide whether to have quite a close deadline,
whereby everybody snaps into action, but we could miss out
on some gems...or, give everybody ages but then lose
momentum 'cause everybody just forgets about it.
I didn't think people would be finished yet.
I'll deffo have some space to host all the tracks by the
next week.

offline obara from Utrecht on 2006-06-14 12:48 [#01920015]
Points: 19368 Status: Lurker

as i know myself - i prefer not to wait and make a track
when i feel like it. cause i'm a lazy person and if i
delayed making it - i could have problems finishing it

but that's alright, that's alright. the more time - the more
i can improve my track.

i don't remember how other vibes have worked, was it
deadline or a specified number of submissions ? dunno.

offline swears from junk sleep on 2006-06-14 12:59 [#01920020]
Points: 6474 Status: Lurker

I'll basically put anything I get into a mix, but try to
keep it under an hour. I'm not gonna let my judgement effect
it too much, because there might be stuff I'm not into, that
other people might like.
If something really sounds like no effort has been put into
at all, I might ask for a better version.

I sing something, don't care what I sing, then I use
auto-tune and it becomes the right pitch. It sounds like
weird shit, though.. you can hear it on many pop songs used
for overdubbing or chorus or something like that...

What are you using for auto tune. I want to try out someting
like that to further improve my voice.
