Reich was interviewed on RTE2, irish tv, by one of clint's
best mates, John Kelly. My dad recorded it to dvd for me and
once i get my hands on it i'll divx and upload.

Will bump this once i've got it (a day or two)

Just posting this now so that mr. clint will be on the
look-out.

fuck! peace.

Mate that is great news, seriously, thanks.

They did a lot of audience shots (and the audience was quite
small) so I'll be on there, I'm almost certain. I've been
looking for this online for a while :D Your dad is the man.

I don't know that one, I'll have a look for it.

I bought a cheap Reich CD the other day which is fantastic.
'Six Pianos' is astounding/painfully detailed.

oh yes, you should definitely check it out (if you have an
affinity for stadium-rock like me, that is ;) )...
it's a "b-side" on the 'triple quartet' (=kronos) cd and a
remake of 'violin phase' from 67, but to me this new
interpretation works much better, meditative like alot of
the phase-shifting works but at the same time very
energizing through the sharp sound of the guitar, also
containing really goose-bumping moments towards the end as
the melody develops more and more and breaks out of it's
frame...

Hmm yeah. I believe Redrum has left these shores for one
reason or another. I will ask him about this.

What a coincidence, I just caught a radio interview with the
man on public radio a few days ago. I geuss he's 70 now.
Here's a link to that interview and a few others, if
anyone's interested. LAZY_REICH

hi, yeah,

i've not forgotten.. sorry for not posting it yet. my dad
made a dvd of the tv recording (pretty shitty recording) and
my divxing tools are being a bit gay.

my use of that last word is dedicated to anus_presley.

i'll get back to it and try to get it sorted..

explains increased media coverage these days.

mr anus, you want to insinuate your disgust for my
apologetic enunciation back there, probably because it
sounded like i was sweet talking and putting my head up his
ass to get stuff? i'd apologise but i guess that would make
things only worse, so i'm kinda in a catch 22 situation
here, hm... anyway, i like your accent : P

just got to hear this...
up to now i had only read interviews and never actually
heard his voice. he might be 70 (or at the time of the
interview 63) but he babbles about his music like a 7 year
old presenting his new toys he got on xmas, very nice :)...
especially interesting was the part about "different
trains". i knew about the reference to the "deportierungen"
of jews in nazi germany, what i wasn't aware of is that
there are also a lot of childhood memories mixed in, about
him having to oscillate between la and new york via train in
order to meet his divorced parents...
thanks again!
