Hello, I finally got a nice 24bit pci recording interface, and I want to start recording 1-3 second samples from my circuit bent keyboard... What would be the best program to use, as far as ease of use is concerned, for recording lots of small, high quality samples to be used in a sample-based sequencer. Thanks.

Goldwave is very nice, just use the scrollwheel to zoom in/out and chop away parts etc. Plus there's lots of keyboard commands you can use, check it out!

Oh, I've forgotten about Cool Edit. I had 2000 edition, twas great. But Audacity (Audition?) works fine for what I need. I've found it nest just record in Ableton from a mic/auxilary line though.
