Where's Steedie?

Does Steedie ever come on here any more? Loads of people
seemed to get really pissed off when he came on, but
personally I thought he was a breath of fresh air and his
music was really fun.

To be honest, I think he could even have been some IDM star
winding us all up. There is something about his tracks that
suggests to me that they're deliberately cheesey, and that
whoever wrote them is actually musically very capable and
knows quite a lot about electronic music.

Heil Steedie!

He messaged me once on myspace, a few weeks back.
And he was still talking about his 'synth revolution'.

He's changed the bit about there being too many foreigners
in Birmingham I see, after someone noted it wasn't a very
progressive viewpoint from a progressive musician :)

Twim is akshually r40f, but, r40f akshually is
John Zorn, who, during the day, akshually is I.

Steedie was awesome. Very upbeat guy, despite his
detractors.

I liked him a lot too, although I think he was either
deranged or taking the piss (probably the latter).

I was talking to him on msn the other day. He takes his
music very seriously and is definately not trying to wind
people up; he spams forums (the soundonsound and futuremusic
forums got it a lot worse than xltronic) to get exposure,
apparently. A strange fellow indeed.

promote his work here.

... So has the synth revlution begun yet?
