I thought is was a bit cack, to be honest. I was expecting another ace film after Pi, but instead he gives us yet another depressing film about the downward spiral of drug abuse. You know where the film goes after watching for 5 minutes, down, down, down. What was the point? Soundtrack got on my tits too - blimmin' Clint tune played every fucking five minutes, just like with Pi. Bit of variation in the tunes would've been nice. Looked like the girl out of Labrynth, cool.
Wow, and Darren Aronofsky ends the film with a 'shockingly disturbing' (and completely unnecessary) electroshock scene. Yawn.

i was honestly expecting it to be far more disturbing/far better, but i did enjoy it..the use of the same tunes will irk some i know, but i thought they were nice and reminded me of the game silent hill...Havent seen Pi, really really want to though, and will try to soon..

I've seen it...once, 7 months ago, heavily intoxicated...so...
I'll have to check it out again. What I remember of it was good though :P
And I did like Pi. The title track from that movie is great I think.
Stone.
