i work 80%, it's perfect! i'd recommend anyone to do the
same.
always free on fridays for example. i just took a nice 1½
hour nap... really relaxed now! yey! :)

that's how it works in sweden. phobias 120% and your 80%
levels it out and you're all able to live nicely. doesn't
work that way elsewhere though :(

I'm in the process of trying to get a job. No one will call
me back though.

it really sucks because I bought half the parts for a
computer and thought I would have a job by now to buy the
other half

i now found a really fine job at a bookstore, but i have a
0-hour contract. I can only work when there is extra stuff
to do, or when one of the main co-workers isn't able to be
there.

So now i'm just waiting for a phonecall, while i worry about
surviving financially. At the same time, i would have a hard
time considering accepting a fulltime job there if they
would ever offer one. I wouldnt last too long i'm afraid.

so, JOBS ARE SOMETIMES FUN AND STILL SHIT.

I enjoy my job and the people I work with are mainly great
fun - there's a real mix of ethnic and age groups. I've a
few really close friends there who have become more than
just workmates.

Tubular. I'd love to have a job that only required 4 days a
week, I'd gladly sacrifice a hefty chunk of spending money
if I could pull it off. My mom works 3 days a week, it's
insane. I almost resent her for that. Not really though.

Wait I remember when I worked for HP, a quarter of the
employees worked 4 days a week, but it was 10 hours a day. I
was offered that shift and I was so tormented, couldn't
decide if I wanted to do that. Anybody ever have a schedule
like that?

I used to do 4x10s, we called them, back when I worked for
MCI. It was pretty fucking awesome to have 3 days, wide
open. But my shift was from 5:30pm to 4:00am through the
dark winter months and after not very long I was ready to
shoot myself. I craved sunlight.

i have deadlines. o lucky me. as long as i make sure i
deliver the goods in time, i don't have to worry about
making a certain amount of hours. making days of 8 hours is
a rarity...but i do work 5 days though
