No-one will be able to help me because no-one ever answers any of my questions, I don't even know why I'm bothering.... but, in the mode of the eternal optimist I shall ask anyway...
When using warp samples in nuendo is it possible to leave off the last "auto set" warp sample at the end of the audio track? ie, stretch the track from the position of the last warp sample marker, changing the length of the track.
What seems to happen is that when you add the first warp sample marker another is set at the end so moving the marker you set stretches between your point and the start, and your point and the end. I want the end to move.
Does this make sense?

not to me, no. I use Nuendo a lot, but I never use "warp samples".
just thought I'd let you know.

that was the effect I was going for, yessir.
thing is, I'm one of those.. "intuitive" users, so I would have a hard time putting to words anything I regularly do in there.
"ooh.. I just set the boxy thingy to the slidy thingy and double-click.."

I'd have been happy with pictures if you'd known the answer. I suspect the answer is "you can't do it and you must be mocked for even thinking it's possible, you fool"

thing is, I might be using the feature you refer to all the time, yet not know that it is called that.
looking at your description, I don't think so, though.
I wanted to post a nice picture, but I can't do that anymore.

I know what you are saying but I don't think there is a way to do it. I still just cut the sample up...position the later slices and close the gaps. (That is when I can be arsed)
