the beginnings good. almost IHip-HopM. that synth that comes in im not fond of though but thats personal preference. doesnt mean its shit. production wise its brilliant. a nice fat mix. there could be more going on admittedly but i wouldnt say it was bland. its better then the stuff im doing and im making a concerted effort to be a professional musician! foolish boy! |

c'mon, you can make a much better bass line than that. i think it's the buzz-snares that make the tracks sound so IDM-ish. |

i agree about the snares being the main reason to call it IDM. is there a version with different/no snares i could hear? i thought the bass was alright, though my ears were focused on that synth... |

yeah i over did the snare rushes. but it was only the firsts itting (an hours effort) so hopefully i can come back to it and take it somewhere instead of leaving it so plain. I think it should go stuttery hip hop and then have an MC DROP PHAT LINES YO. (i would love to work with an mc hehe) mylittlesister: its never gonna be a good enough bass for you, you are xlt's squarepusher with your jazz bass and what not ;) hehe Indeksical: which synth is it that greats there are 5 in all? |
