does anyone else have this problem. i get scared that i
will be sitting there for about 20 seconds waiting for all
the posts, images and love juice to load. back in the day
when i was on dialup it took longer to click on brand new
threads. that's the thing about fast internet, it makes you
impatient and somehow changes you as a person. nothing does
the job anymore, nothing satisfies your most earthly
desires. and what are those anyway? i don't even know
anymore. when i was on dialup i knew myself. i'm just a
ghost now.

Eh, I always have like 50 Firefox tabs open at any given
time. I click on topics and then instantly go to another
window so I don't have to wait even a second with nothing to
read.

RE: internets, yeah, as a human being, I jumped the shark
when I got DSL. I was a better person before I had high
speed.

i think it's mainly down to greed. it's like surfing the
internet back in the day was a relaxing sport. now it's
frantic and sweaty. 7000 tabs and 18 different programs
downloading whatever you can find.

Im just like that, I sit here and just do all kinds of stuff
I dont even know where Im coming up with it from, and if i
click a tab and it takes a second to load i give up and
click another one, its unbelievably impatient and im not
like that at all

It's safe to assume that 80% of the posts are hilarious
pictures posted by Drunken Mastah.

It's fun to skip around tabs, get distracted, and then open
up a tab and then go ''OH MY GOD, this is so
interesting/sexy, I forgot I clicked on that, what a
pleasant surprise.'' Yeah.

with large threads I just read the first and last posts and
then I reply to a random one to get more points in the game
of xlt

"as a human being, I jumped the shark when I got DSL."

Lol.

i couldn't agree more. i don't know if i'd be doing
anything more productive with my spare time if i didn't have
the internets, but i am sure that i waste 95% of it online
now that i do.
