RDJ's best work
oh hell yes
Forget all this "drill n'bass" bullshit, he was better when
he was still doin' it for the music not the money.

Classics=his best work?
I dunno about that, some of the tracks on classics are
repetitive and annoying.

In my opinion his best work is a toss up between Saw 85-92
and ICBYD

that Sawwy thing is decenti suppose... it's a shame he made
the fucking RDJ album............... not a bad album
particularuly but it led to DRUKQs the worst atrocity ever
fucking recorded..... peice of dogshit not even fit to use
as a blpoody toilet paperr not that i'd want to wipe my arse
with a CD

I agree Drukqs wasn't great, I hated all those little piano
tracks, but it had some good stuff, like Ziggomatic, Cock
Ver/10, 54 Cymru Beats, Metaphace, Vordhosbn, and afxv237 to
name a few.

when did he start doin it for the money?
seems like he would have released more than just 1 album in
4 years if he was just doin' it for the money... course he
does live in a bank...

You do have a big mouth, but please do support your own
points.

perhaps there would reasons for me to call you a "bart
simpson peanut butter chocolate crunch", and i would clarify
them if i was to do so.

I don't like Classics much. A bit boring. RDJ is my
favourite. And how can anyone hate Druqks?

cannot say drukqs is shit, but i was more impressed back
when i heard classsics than when i heard drukqs...
and i think that the rdj lp is made a little bit too catchy
and pop for me to like it as much as other things by him

I love classics
I love digeridoo
but also love drukqs

I guess it is possible
why do we have to argue about our favourite artist?

cos rephlex was not giving his opinion he was really trying
to start a fight over here...
well we will never do it again i guess

Actually I agree...... Drill N. Bass is so boring I find.
Although the RDJ album is pretty cool.. its not.... that
cool. And Drukqs Bored me to death.... Classics, Caustic
Window, AB3 and so on are the SHIT! Not to mention all the
others from that time era...... Start As You Mean To Go
On.... is a plush song filled with more emotion than any new
stuff! ICBYD!

I'm kind of torn between his drill era, and his ICBYD era.
Seems his tracks had more emotion back in '95. But his new
stuff is just so CRISP and complex and insane, I can't get
enough.

Classic, Analogues, Caustic Window, all his older stuff...
they're really good, but he got MUCH better from ICBYD and
beyond, I think. Much more interesting work.

Naw naw OFEKS::. see I think the other way around, I think
that before ICBYD and including it was the shit... and after
he lost his touch and got pretty boring, I love hearing my
AB1, AB2, AB3 and AB4 and oohhhh "Ab5'! ha! Classics,
Quoth!, Caustic.. oh godd!!!!!

What about SAW 85-92? What do you think of that? I'd like to
hear him do some more of that more mellow stuff. Maybe he
does a bit TOO much drill. I wish he'd strike a balance. He
did that with ICBYD, I think, pretty harsh when it has to
be, and very pretty at the same time. Drukqs lacks that, I
admit. Too many extremes...

AB3 is fucking great!

DRUKQS was commerkcial THROWAWAY shit... not worth the
fucking time or money, in 2 years time itll be rotting at
the back of everyones CD collections
aphex twin will be releasing more and more shit records and
we'll lap em up until about 5 years from now when he'l no
longer be cool and he'll be like Status Wuo trying to scrape
some kind of career, thinking anybody gfives a shite....
from then propably even the advertusers won't want him
unless he sucks their dick
