howdy, here's a track i made from some dried up jellyfish i
found on autechre's beach. maybe you'll like it, and you
can tell me what i did right. you can tell me what i did
wrong, too, if you like, but let's face it the track is
done. made this for an xlt comp, where it appeared in
unrecognizable form. made under the influence of wolfgang
voigt circa mille plateau, if that means anything to you.

tell me what you think!

be nice, i'm leaving now to take my cat to the vet.

I like it a lot, the only thing that I find jarring is the
main beat that sounds a bit like generic "Chill Out"
grooves, which I find doesn't sit too well with the static
waves and fuzzy washes. I am not suggesting you should've
used fucked up breakzz or whatever, I don't know what I'd
have suggested. I'd have just tried to have made them sound
a bit stranger, maybe, bit more in keeping with the mood.
But overall, like it, like the atmos'.

I like it as well. Yay.

(I would have faded in the drums)

d_b, you're probably right, i felt it needed some sort of
percussive drive since it was for the xlt ae remix thing,
and it ended up a little too cheesy. maybe i'll revisit it
and fuck it up more.

scup, i will accept "faded in."

thanks for listening!

I tried to give it a listen, but for some reason my media
player settings are messed up..... I'll try it again later,
but I always enjoy your music :D

enjoyed it. i would have buried the kick under some lowpass
filter a bit more, and i thought it was a little bit too
long, but great otherweise.

Nice. I like it. I agree with Sam about the kick though.
