Its the least listened to music genre by me.

I like rock/classic rock/metal/blues

I thought this way for a long time but then "What the beat"
reawakened my enthusiasm and showed me there was a lot more
to do within the field of electronic music.

Sorry. I don't know. 90% of the muisc i listen to is at
least 10 years old so I can't, really, suggest anything.
Apart from suggesting listening to music from at least 10
years ago as music now is gash IMO.

not being able to find something new is just lazy. not
enjoying new music is just biorhythms.

Still is a good record. I think it was the first double lp I
ever bought. Unless that was Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds.
Which it probably was. Or Welcome to the Pleasuredome.

Pfff, terrible, when the old mind starts going.

Ive been reading Cage and Copland, they have somewhat
inspired me into electronic music again. It really hasnt
gone in the direction it was believed that it would go in a
while back, but it still has a lot of potential to go places
it hasn't yet.

I'm moving on too. You love it, you live it, you're done.
What's next? I'm going into real instruments now, plus still
electronica influence which brings me to synth-pop indierock
stuff that is coming out nowadays. Just not the gay Panic At
The Disco crap. More underground styles like The Octopus
Project. I really like them right now.

My top bands now are: Octopus Project, The Postal Service,
Broken Social Scene (They are a lot like Prefuse 73 in some
ways!), M83, Animal Collective, Sigur Ros, Four-Tet, and
Voxtrot.

Oh yeah. And Kanye West, but that's a different story. It'll
all change around again though. There's no stopping it.

I haven't gone off it but my musical diet is really light on
electronic music the light little while. Actually I've
listened to Burt Bacharach almost exclusively the last few
days...

I took a break from electronic music for awhile. Sounded so
much better when I came back around to it. Lately I haven't
been listening to the recent electronic music, but the early
90s stuff. Like FSOL and B12. More essential than food and
water.

no, if you listen to anything other than electronica, you
are doing it wrong. pick one genre and stick with it.

i think anything can be fresh if you've not personally heard
it before.... surely thats pretty obvious. also electronic
music is music with electric, also yes we all hate
oppressive genres but we pigeon hole stuff for reference
yadda yadda blah blah,

My musical tastes go round in waves. One month, I'll really
be into ambient, then it'll be acid, and now it's just
changing to Alternative again.
