how good is this?! pioneering.. so ahead of its time, to think it was released in the same year as trans europe express blows my mind. everyone get on this if you haven't already! very reminicent of a synthy spookier punkier electronic joy division if you willl. fav tracks - 'cheree', 'che' and especially 'keep your dreams' - beautiful closing track. the second album is almost as good - definitely more poppy - but the debut just has it's own unique atmosphere, i love it. |

the reissue of this has a wicked live trak in berlin i think as a support for elvis costello, he passes his mic into the crowd and doesnt get it back, keeps his cool though |
