Aidan Baker- Sequestered, that guy crafts some incredible
ambience. And I keep listening to Magnetic Fields- Born on a
Train over and over again, must be my favorite song of the
90s.

there are a lot of things more interesting, than listening
to music this crazy spring 2006, but when there are no
better options than sitting at home then it comes to this
beautiful music:

alva noto & ryuichi sakamoto - vrioon

which is.. something i can't describe.

Nathan Fake's whole album is melancholy. I haven't been able
to get those sad M83-ish-but-less-dramatic sounds out of my
head all week.

Btw, kudos to Dirty Priest for mentioning B. Corgan. His
solo album is underrated.

you should get insane! vrioon was ace, but insen is even
better! much much more subtle. sakamoto was involved more
this time and nikolai didn't force electronics as much.
really cool music.

Burt Bacharach- The Windows of the World, torn between an
instrumental version, and covers by The Free Design and The
Pretenders. They're all so good.

Teenage. Wonderkid. Prodigy. Vermont. Astonishing.
Getting the obligatory lexical quintet out of the way to
start with, it is nonetheless worth dwelling on why every
review concerning Khonnor tends to begin this way; because
for someone so young he's got a lifetime of songwriting
acumen and unadulterated talent coursing through his
veins.

i read that and then i listened to the sample tracks... and
thought... what?

ps - he sucks.
