There's already something that does that.

Roland SYB-3 / SYB-9.

I'll do a MC09 improv later.

MC09 Demo
Ok, I used some extra bits of equipment (Alesis Ion, Numark
EM260's sampler for reversing) and a few tricks (overloading
the audio in signal=clipping), but it should show the MC09's
general emulation of the 303.

I agree that it's lead and drums sounds are complete shit,
but the basses are pretty good.

that first bit sounds rather nice actually, nice overdrive.
cheeky kraftwerk ripoff on the pad

I like this thread. I just got a mc-202 microcomposer. I
must admit, programming the sequencer in it is tough to
learn for me. Still able to loop shorter sequences and
trigger my paia modular via cv/gate. There is more potential
for this thing though. Who is the MC-202 programming wizard
around here?

i don't have that much trouble with programming the MC202,
but that might be because i learned how to read notes

You should hear it clipped then put thru reverb. 303
heaven.

I'm interested in the 202, I might buy one, don't know.

MC-09 Acid (Live)
This is what you get when you start layering the MC09's
basses, and then clipping them.

I just realised, that boosted my chart position.
I DIDN'T MEAN IT!!!!!

It shouldn't/won't work as now I'm charging people to buy
it.
